John has a successful 40-year career in UK radio and has been, uniquely, twice honoured with the Fellowship of the Radio Academy of which he also served as Deputy Chair and CEO. John’s radio career has included senior management roles with Bauer Media where he headed up the programming for the likes of Radio Clyde, Key 103 and Red Dragon before taking up a series of regional and group roles. John is renowned within the radio industry for his breadth of knowledge and experience and has a reputation for successfully building station audiences across a wide variety of formats.
Lars (FCIM) has worked in local media in the UK for a number of years, running highly successful seminar sales programmes for both radio stations, online businesses and newspaper groups. During his career Lars has delivered hundreds of presentations for local SME’s helping them understand print, radio and digital media channels.
Throughout his career in media, Lars has used his sales and marketing experience to boost the performance of businesses of all sizes, working with the leadership teams to identify the key challenges and implementing plans for change and development.
Phil has worked in radio since the 1980s and has managed stations and projects for all of the UKs largest groups – Global, Bauer, Nation, TWG. In addition to this Phil has launched a number of radio stations and provided an extensive list of stations with training services. Phil has a wealth of experience helping small businesses make the most of radio.
Phil is currently running Zest Liverpool, the station he launched in 2017 as well as consulting for stations and licence applications up and down the country. Phil has a reputation as someone who quickly transforms a stations commercial performance, using his vast experience and insights to boost the performance of sales and management teams.
Dominic has worked in media for over 20 years, building highly profitable relationships with businesses of all shapes and sizes. Many years in commercial radio working for some of the biggest radio stations across local, regional and national sales has given Dominic the experience and insights he needs to be able to find new ways that media companies can develop even stronger relationships with their target clients.
